Who Am I?

The last film by Michael Cimino, the great American filmmaker, Sunchaser has become this pump with a sublime 8.5 cm heel. A hymn to freedom, hedonism and incongruity, the Sunchaser was born to make you the one on the lookout for the sun, the seeker of light. Its slim lines and glittering claws are all the more reason for you to fall for this model, which is Patricia's undisputed victory in the world of fashion.

Material and Care

For the nubuck part, it's important to waterproof the material before the first use, and then frequently if you want to keep your shoes in good condition. Be careful to waterproof only the nubuck, as the glitter does not require any special care apart from attention and constant love. Avoid prolonged exposure to sun and water. Be sure to remove the protective plastic from the soles before wearing your shoes, once you're sure you won't be returning them for a refund, and don't wait too long to have your soles fitted with a no slip pad by an experienced cobbler.

THE TRUE STORY OF THE SUNCHASER

It happened one evening in July, when the month had been plagued by a series of storms. And so had my superego.

I was feverish. Very. Like never before. I'd passed the 40-degree mark and I was flirting dangerously with 41.

I didn't like calling the doctors because they never knew what was wrong with me. Humans may have sent his kind to the Moon, but I felt that medicine was still in the Stone Age, and as soon as they didn't know what it was, they blamed it on the virus. Backache: virus. Pain in the buttocks: virus... all to hide their incompetence and their desire to get the day's consultations over with as quickly as possible. I'm not saying there aren't any good ones, but I haven't met them yet. And I'm glad I haven't.

That said, that night I was on the verge of death. Every drop I perspired was equivalent to the capacity of a gourd.

It was so heavy I felt like I was in Macao. Every breath took me to the banks of the Styx, and my breathing became jerky. So much so that at one point I thought I was possessed by a demon. The kind of thing that could practically make me salsa dance.
Breathless, I called the emergency medical services anyway, hoping to find a big strong man who would save me by giving me mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and complementary auscultations if necessary. I have to admit that I was also running a fever at the time. But there was no one around. Neither the emergency medical services nor the paramedics took my case seriously.

As I began to lose my patience, my reason and even my sight

instead of waiting to die, I remembered that on the sixth floor there lived an old hermit who looked like a sorcerer. In other times, I wouldn't even have shaken his hand, as he didn't seem very water-friendly, but here, my survival was at stake.
Every step that separated me from the top floor made me feel like I was on the Empire State Building.
I finally reached the top just before five in the morning, having lost at least five liters of water by landing. As I made my way to his door, my strength deserted me and I collapsed without a sound a few meters from his door. A neighbor bumped into my body on his way out to buy cookies at the local grocery store. The commotion this caused brought him out of his room. He took me in by the arm.

First, he slapped me, then made me swallow a whole series of drinks to bring down my fever. Then I drank concoctions to exorcise the evil inside me.

According to him, if I was in such a condition, I had to turn to the psyche. My mind was parasitized by an entity that had to be expelled. This neighbor, an old Chinese man so old he was too old to have one, was adamant. I had to get rid of what was rotting my existence if I wanted to get rid of this recalcitrant fever. He managed to bring it down, but as soon as his concoctions lost their power, I'd be plunged back into the throes of high temperatures. After unsuccessful attempts, he finally decided to perform long hypnosis sessions, imploring me to go and find my sun.

I was still weak, but I wanted so much to please him, so much to believe in his solution, that after sniffing a rail of his beige powder, I was seized with such a surge that I saw dozens of suns.

I didn't know which one to chase. They were all very bright and colorful, attractive. That's when he leaned over and whispered in my ear: "Seize the one that is the one, true and only sun of your life, the others are only decoys, substitutes for your own ego and doubts". All I had to do was concentrate and summon up the courage to identify what would lead me to the firmament of my soul. I don't know how long I wandered, flying between all these stars. Maybe days, maybe months.
Patricia Blanchet

But when I saw him, there could be no doubt, even if I didn't want to believe it, because of all the people I'd met, he was the smallest, the least dashing, the least bright. I immediately wanted to take him in my arms and cuddle him.
Then he said to me: "That's what you have to do with yourself. Be less hard on yourself and learn to be good to yourself.

Patricia Blanchet

When he was satisfied that I was well and truly healed, he told me that this cosmic journey had a name: Sunchaser.

That was all it took for me to name my fabulous mental journey after this superb pump with a heel as fine as my senses.
